beginners mentoring workshop.

ive had a a lot of people ask me about mentoring the past few months and since i've been so busy i haven't had time to even think about it. well i am now. i love what I do as a photographer… especially being a mother and being blessed to have the skills to creatively control my camera so i can capture my children's lives just how i see it. i love sharing what i know with others who are just as passionate about photography as i am.. or at least hope to be. ;)

date: january 22nd, 2011 (its a saturday)

time: TBD (most likely 10am - 12:30pm)

what will we be doing? in this workshop i'll focus on shooting in manual setting and make sure you are comfortable using this mode before you leave. we'll go over composition, posing, how i work with children and babies as well as making the most of your candid shots. we'll shoot outdoors and as well as learn how to get great shots indoors. there will be an open q&a where you can ask whatever you want and hopefully i'll have an answer. my goal is to have everyone walk away with new skills, new friendships, and a better understanding of their camera. lots of yummy snacks and goodies will be served. i'll provide a small beginners manual and note taking materials. just come with your camera (dslr only) and any lenses you want to shoot with.

who is it for? this workshop will be for anyone who wants a greater understanding of their camera, anyone who wants to gain confidence in taking fabulous images and most of all anyone who wants to come have fun with me! moms, dads, photographers, ANYONE!! i still want to keep this a small intimate group so I can spend one on one time with everyone. there are only 10 6 spots and when they are booked they are gone.

cost: $175 is due in full at booking
